Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2, 2026
SaaS Down Radar ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains in detail what information we collect when you use our website at saas-down-radar.vercel.app, how we use that information, which third-party services we work with, and what rights you have regarding your data. Please read this policy carefully before using our service.
1. Information We Collect
SaaS Down Radar is designed with a minimal data footprint. We do not require user registration or login, and we do not collect personal information as part of the normal operation of the service. The limited information we do collect falls into two categories:
1.1 Automatically Collected Information
When you visit SaaS Down Radar, our logging system records the following non-personal data:
- The page URL visited and timestamp of the visit
- Your browser's language preference and timezone setting
- Browser type and version (user agent string)
- A general geographic region derived from timezone (not a precise location)
This data is used solely for aggregate visitor counting and improving our service. It is not linked to any individual identity.
1.2 Browser Local Storage
We use your browser's localStorage (not cookies from our own domain) to cache status data for faster page loads and to store a local visitor count. This data lives entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
To be clear about our privacy practices, SaaS Down Radar does not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers (unless you voluntarily contact us)
- Your IP address — we do not log or store IP addresses
- Payment or financial information of any kind
- Precise geographic location data
- Any information from children under 13 years of age
- Biometric data, health data, or any sensitive personal information
3. Cookies and Advertising
Our own website does not set first-party tracking cookies. However, we display advertisements through third-party advertising networks, and these networks may set cookies on your browser to serve personalized or interest-based ads. Specifically:
3.1 Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this website. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. For more information about Google's privacy practices, please see the Google Privacy Policy.
3.2 Adsterra
We also display advertisements through Adsterra, an advertising network that may use cookies and tracking technologies to deliver and measure advertisements. Adsterra's advertising may appear in various formats on this site. For information about Adsterra's data practices, please review the Adsterra Privacy Policy. You can limit interest-based advertising by adjusting your browser's cookie settings or using your browser's private/incognito mode.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
In addition to advertising networks, SaaS Down Radar relies on the following third-party services:
- Vercel: Our website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may collect standard server access logs including IP addresses as part of their hosting service. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Atlassian Statuspage APIs: We fetch real-time service status data from Atlassian Statuspage's public APIs. These requests do not include any user data — they are server-to-client reads of publicly available status information.
- Individual SaaS Provider Status APIs: We also query status APIs published directly by providers like AWS, Google Cloud, GitHub, and others. Again, no user data is included in these requests.
- Google Sheets (Webhook): We use a webhook to log anonymized visit counts. The data sent includes only a timestamp and an anonymous session identifier — no personal information.
- Tailwind CSS CDN: Our site loads the Tailwind CSS framework from a public CDN. This connection does not transmit user data.
5. How We Use the Data We Collect
The minimal data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Displaying aggregate visitor statistics (today's visitors, total visitors) on the dashboard
- Understanding which services are searched or viewed most frequently, to guide our decisions about which new services to add
- Detecting abuse patterns such as unusually high automated request volumes
- Improving the overall user experience based on anonymized usage patterns
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data to third parties. We do not use collected data for behavioral profiling, targeted advertising from our own systems, or any purpose beyond service improvement.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national laws:
- Right of Access: You may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Right to Erasure: You may request that we delete data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to Object: You may object to processing of your data for specific purposes
- Right to Data Portability: You may request your data in a portable format
- Right to Restrict Processing: You may request that we limit how we use your data
Because we collect minimal identifying data, most of these rights may not yield substantive results — we simply do not hold personal files on individual visitors. However, we take all rights requests seriously and will respond within 30 days. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at taeshinkim11@gmail.com.
7. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you additional rights. You have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, the right to delete personal information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To submit a CCPA request, contact us at taeshinkim11@gmail.com.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we collect. Our website is served over HTTPS, and access to our visit log data (stored in Google Sheets) is restricted to the site administrator. We do not store payment data, passwords, or sensitive personal information of any kind, which significantly reduces the risk profile of any potential data breach.
9. Children's Privacy
SaaS Down Radar is not directed to children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at taeshinkim11@gmail.com and we will take prompt steps to delete such information.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the services we use. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of SaaS Down Radar after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
